Go away Sallie Mae!

This upcoming week on MomsPOV I really wanted to touch on parents who are currently in school whether it be full-time or part-time. Being a recent college grad myself I know what trials and tribulations I went through of my own. I would love to be that outlet for those who may have experienced this as well. Just simple questions I have such as how did you explain to your kids the decision to get back in school and continue your education? Were there any major adjustments you had to make that caught you off guard? What was the end result? Gee, I hope those wheels are turning now. I plan on answering these same questions myself as well, because I felt I did not have that outlet at first to share my frustrations. When people view you as a parent, and see how easy you may make it look (totally not easy BTW but worth every second)! People automatically assume that when you add a huge task such as college to the equation that you just already have it under control. Ask the current student in your life that is also a parent "How are you?" That simple question can go a long way, but be careful this can also open the flood gates.
